Everything on the ground even not on the ground were toys for us when we were kids. We used pebbles for piko ( hopscotch as american kids calls it), garment garters to play chinese garter and an empty can of condensed milk to play tumbang preso (we threw stones on the can then we ran to the bases which were stones---something like baseball). Of course we do have dolls which can be purchased at a market without clothes then we use left over cloths to dress them up. My brothers used 8 inches to 12 inches piece of wood tied to a smaller piece of wood to serve as a handle to make a toy gun. We didn't need money to have a toy. Receivng money than toys are better gifts on Christmas. We use that money to buy important things like notebooks, pens, new bags and give the rest to our parents.
